To face this critical corona virus, which has been spreading like a fire in the country, Prime Minister Narinder Modi has told people to stay safe at home by announcing Lock down for 21 days. The administrative lobby is alert throughout the country to manage the food items, while the social organizations of the country are also understand the suffering of the people and provide Relief supplies to people. Under this series, food items were distributed to 120 needy families from house to house under the guidance of S Jagdev Singh Bajwa, the head of the renowned philanthropist organization Rahat Foundation. On this occasion, especially Naib Tehsildar Amarjit Singh reached out with his team to start the allocation of relief material under the able guidance of district administration. Giving information on this occasion, Foundation President Ram Lal and General Secretary Mukesh Kumar said that the organization has been trying to provide relief to the needy families for the last about 3 years and will always be there. He said that this work is being done with the help of Patran Jagdev Singh Bajwa who has been involved in social service since the days of his ancestors and with the blessings of senior people of the city. Speaking on the occasion, Naib Tehsildar Amarjit Singh said that every institution and rich person should come forward to deal with such anecdotal situations. Praising the Rahat Foundation, he said that he has seen the work of the organization in the past and very commendable works are being done by the organization. On this occasion, he appealed to the people to protect themselves and stay in their homes, if there is any problem, then they should contact the administration.
